Preparation

The client wanted to relocate to the prestigious Etihad towers, from one of their existing branches. The space in Etihad towers was a 2347 sq. ft of shell & core area. The client expectation was to match the design of this project with that of the earlier ones.


Concept

BNP Paribas wanted to have a refined Corporate ambiance in this office too because it is their standard feature across their branches. In addition to that, as a bank, the primary focus of design and fit-out was on privacy and security on the premises.


Design

As this was our third project with BNP Paribas and the design & the materials used were similar to that of the earlier ones, the work was well organized and was effortless. We tried to keep the design consistent with their other branches, by including similar bespoke wood veneer cladding, carpets, ceiling designs, and light fittings. The only challenge for us was that the office was fairly small and we had to fit all their requirements within the limited space.

They being a bank with teller facilities, their major concern was privacy and security. To accomplish their security requirement, we sat through their nominated security company to understand and incorporate all the safety & security measures required within the office.

To achieve privacy through sound insulation, we used a combination of single and double-layered Optima acoustic glass along with slab to slab double-layered gypsum partitions & bespoke acoustic fabric cladding.


The Result

The client was extremely delighted to see & work in a highly secure, exclusive, corporate space, that is in tune with the ambiance of their other offices. Our efforts of fitting all their requirements within the little space and creating a brand identity through the office design were highly acknowledged.
