PIVOTAL PARTNERSHIP MILESTONE

Spencer Interiors was recently commissioned to design and construct the new workplace for AG&P LNG, marking a significant milestone in our ongoing partnership with the company.
Over nearly two years, our professional relationship began with securing our first workplace project, which was later shelved. However, AG&P re-engaged with us to create a new workplace in a different setting. The trust, transparency, and close communication with AG&P fostered a deep level of understanding, flexibility, and alignment of ideas from both sides. This continuity allowed us to build on previous insights and deliver a more refined solution which turned out to be very helpful in the whole journey of designing and delivering AG&P’s new office.


OFFICE FIT-OUT PROJECT OVERVIEW

AG&P LNG is dedicated to creating a vibrant and sophisticated office environment that reflects their core brand values and leaves a lasting impression on all visitors. The goal is to design a space that not only energizes and inspires employees but also enhances motivation and maximizes productivity. To achieve this, AG&P LNG has requested a full-service fit-out that caters to their specific operational needs and promotes a conducive working atmosphere.


A MULTIFACETED WORKSPACE

At Spencer Interiors, our vision for AG&P's new office was to create a dynamic workspace that transitions smoothly from sophisticated elegance to vibrant creativity, reflecting the diverse character of the company. Our design concept harnessed strategic color schemes and architectural elements to develop unique yet unified spaces within the office.
Our design was driven by the ambition to blend sophistication with vitality, capturing the essence of AG&P’s influential and innovative spirit. Key influences included:
• Sophistication: Reflecting the significant impact of the company in its sector.
• Vibrancy: Symbolizing AG&P's commitment to innovation and forward-thinking.
• Natural Environment: Given the office’s location on the ground floor amidst verdant greenery and an artificial lake, our design enhances the seamless integration of indoor and outdoor environments.
• Employee Wellbeing: We prioritized creating spaces that not only uplift and motivate but are also functional and conducive to employee wellbeing.


IN-DEPTH LOOK AT AG&P'S OFFICE

Arrival & Meeting Experience:

Upon entering AG&P’s office, visitors are greeted by a reception area that exudes elegance and professionalism. The design incorporates high-end finishes, sleek modern furniture, and a sophisticated palette of colors, complemented by refined lighting choices. This space is designed to make a striking first impression. A key feature in the boardroom and client lounge is the wine-red furniture, which not only stands out as a bold statement but also seamlessly blends with the office's overall aesthetic. The arrival area is welcoming, featuring warm colors and soft textures. The floor and ceiling designs are strategically crafted to guide visitors fluidly through the space, enhancing their overall experience from the moment they step in.

The Workspace:

The main workspace is a blend of closed offices and an open-plan workstation area, all designed with vibrancy and ergonomic comfort in mind to boost productivity and employee satisfaction. A linear passage connects the reception to the cafeteria, marked by dynamic flooring and ceiling elements that visually and physically guide movement throughout the office. The open workstation area is equipped with dynamic, modern workstations and complementary acoustic lighting fixtures, creating a lively yet efficient work environment.

The Zen Corner:

Designed as a serene escape within the office, the Zen Corner offers a tranquil retreat for employees. It features comfortable seating and soothing design elements, ideally positioned near windows to maximize the connection to the outdoor greenery. This area provides a peaceful space where employees can relax and recharge during busy workdays.

Café:

The café area serves as a vibrant social hub within the office, featuring bright, inviting furniture and expansive views of the outdoors. It includes a neatly integrated pantry area, designed to minimize clutter and maximize efficiency around the seating spaces. This space not only facilitates informal meetings and breaks but also enhances the overall workplace atmosphere by providing a dynamic, engaging area for interaction and relaxation.


STRATEGIC DESIGN SOLUTIONS

Confronted with the dual challenge of meeting the standards of a previous benchmark project while operating under a tighter budget and schedule, Spencer Interiors and AG&P undertook a comprehensive value engineering approach. We carefully navigated the constraints of materials, finishes, and architectural elements, innovating within these boundaries to craft a design solution that adhered to budgetary limits without compromising on quality or timeliness.


PROJECT OUTCOME

The extensive renovation of the AG&P office stands as a shining example of Spencer Interior's commitment to excellence and client satisfaction. This project was carefully executed to meet not just the functional needs of the office but also to foster a positive and productive work environment.
Every element, from the strategic layout of the space to the choice of materials and colors, was designed with the aim of enhancing employee well-being and efficiency. The reception area sets a tone of sophistication that carries through to every part of the office, from the dynamically designed workstations to the tranquil Zen Corner.
